How do I install the presets?
Check the "How to Install" page in the menu for instructions.

Do the presets work on JPGs?
Yes. They're built for RAW files, which hold far more colour and tonal information, so that's where they look their best. On JPGs, phone photos and edited exports they still apply, but the result can look stronger or more contrasty than on the examples. Use the Amount slider (below) and a quick exposure or white balance tweak to bring it back.

What's the Amount slider?
After you apply a preset, an Amount slider appears in the Presets panel. Drag it left to soften the effect or right to push it further. It's the quickest way to make one preset suit very different photos.

Are the presets compatible with all cameras?
Yes. They work with photos from any camera Lightroom supports, including mirrorless, DSLR, film scans and phone photos, in RAW or JPG. Each camera renders colour slightly differently, so the same preset can look a little warmer or cooler from one camera to the next. A quick white balance tweak or the Amount slider will bring it in line.

Which version of Lightroom do I need?
The presets need Lightroom Classic 13 or later, Lightroom 7 or later, or Camera Raw 16 or later, and the Amount slider works in all of them.

Why does a preset look different on my photo than in the examples?
Every photo starts from different light, white balance and exposure. Presets change your colours and tones, not your lighting, so set exposure and white balance first, then apply the preset and fine-tune with the Amount slider.

Do the presets add grain or a vignette?
No. They're colour and tone only, so you can add your own grain or vignette to taste.

Can I use the presets commercially?
Yes, our presets are licensed for both personal and commercial use. You can apply them to your own photos and use them in your professional projects without any restrictions.
